Vision
Three audiences, one platform
For recruits
A pocket guide to the Guard. Study, browse every MOS, build a plan in 20 minutes, practice for the ASVAB, get clear answers grounded in regulation any time of day.
For recruiters
A real CRM, not a spreadsheet. Open a recruit and see their plan, ASVAB, health and legal self reports at a glance. Realtime chat. Track stage, priority, and next steps.
For SC ARNG
One source of truth for the recruit lifecycle. Built by South Carolina for South Carolina. Data stays with the Guard. A partner that ships.
From the founder
PFC Tyler Amos
14E · SC ARNG
Founder of Centervert. Ships to AIT at Fort Sill in September 2026. Building Guard Ready alongside service.
I started building tools for the Army and SCANG in 2018, when I first thought about joining. I enlisted in late 2019. As a trainee I kept building. Apps that helped me be a better soldier: retain information, grow, and hold the posture to know the regulations I was supposed to be following. I gave them to the trainees around me. They worked. This has been a passion I have worked at continually since.
Guard Ready started as a private market consumer app. Free, with AI features behind a paywall. Then I started learning the recruitment side. I saw recruiters working without complete enlistment packets, building rapport before the data, guessing at waivers. The fix is not a better PDF. It is giving recruiters everything they need from the very first conversation so they can guide the recruit in the best direction the South Carolina National Guard has for them.
So I built the full ecosystem. Recruit app, recruiter workspace, shared data layer. One source of truth for both sides.
To make this grow I need an official partnership with the SC Guard. Time with recruiters to learn what they actually look for and how to prepare the data for them. I would be interested in transferring ownership of Guard Ready to the SCANG, and coming alongside the team to advance my career and make real impact on the mission of the Recruitment and Sustainment division.
The roadmap below is what gets built next. The partnership is what makes it possible.

Built, tested with real Casey-style recruits, and serving the SC ARNG team. Nothing here is a slide deck.

Roadmap
The next wave after current work ships. The headline is the RSP management suite, which makes every RSP unit in South Carolina run on the same track.
10 items
A complete RSP operating system for South Carolina. Every RSP unit, every drill, every soldier on one platform.
Returning soldiers submit structured reviews of their BCT and AIT experience. Recruits assigned to that base unlock the feed before they ship. RSP cadre, often years removed from current training, stays current on what their soldiers are actually walking into.
Self reported recruit answers cross referenced against the live Army Regulation corpus. The recruiter sees the exact reg cite, the applicable waiver path, and the authority who can sign it. No more guessing on conditions, juvenile records, tattoos, or marijuana history.
Original and curated content matched to each Study the Guard chapter. Watch the drill ceremony you just read about.
Two way sync with DODMERB and MEPS appointments. Recruiters stop chasing paperwork by phone.
Verified status from DEERS and NG ECMS where federation allows. Stops manual reconciliation.
Per section practice with score progression over time. The recruit sees their own curve before they hit the real test.
When a referee enlists, the referrer’s recruiter gets pinged. Stripes credits surface in the right inbox.
The same AI assistant for current Guard members. AR 670 1 in your hand at drill.
Higher level dashboard for leadership. Every recruit, every recruiter, every RSP unit in South Carolina on one screen. Trends, not just counts.
Vision
Where the platform goes once the near term roadmap is in.
6 items
From eligibility check to a soldier’s first drill in their assigned unit. Every Guard touchpoint in one place.
Shows recruits where their chosen MOS goes over 5, 10, 20 years. Promotions, credentials, civilian crosswalks.
Incoming recruits get paired with a recent graduate of the same MOS. Real talk before they ship.
When AR 601 210 updates, every active recruit and recruiter sees the new rules within minutes. No more outdated PDFs.
Beyond reporting. Models that surface which prospects are most likely to enlist, which RSP soldiers are at risk of attrition, and which recruiters are about to be overloaded. Earlier intervention, fewer surprises.
Once the SC ARNG version is proven, the same platform stands up for other state National Guards on their own data boundary. South Carolina's investment becomes a national playbook.
